Full Disclaimer: This Buffy sheets review itself is not sponsored (but I do include affiliate links). I dropped roughly $382 on Buffy bedding products and this is my honest review after 1 year since my purchase. Was it worth it – or did I end up cashing in on their 7-night free trial? Read below for the full review!
I, like ya’ll, were most likely first introduced to the Buffy bedding brand via Facebook ad. You’ve gotta give Facebook credit with those too-specific to your demographic ads.
I swooned and fantasized when I read their “No sweaty nights” tagline. I had been taking melatonin gummies to help me sleep for the past few months (I’ve been super stressed at work). Unfortunately, melatonin gives me the night sweats!
And I’m not just talking about sweat like from a light workout. I’m talking about drenched-in-your-PJs, there’s-a-wet-spot-on-the-bed, did-I-pee-myself-in-the-middle-of-the-night? Night sweats. I didn’t expect Buffy sheets to be miracle workers, but I was hoping they’d allow for a cooler and comfier night’s sleep.
Included in This Review
I didn’t just buy the $200 Buffy sheets, I bought a bunch of bedding items that included:
I know, I went all in. I was a little scared TBH. 😬
The Claim
Buffy uses Earth-friendly fabrics and manufacturing practices to create products that are “fluffier than a marshmallow”, with cool-to-the-touch fabrics that “get softer with every wash”.
Their bedding products are cruelty-free, naturally-dyed, and hypoallergenic. They also offer a 7- night sleep guarantee and ‘free trial/try before you buy’ payment plan similar to Trestique’s Essential 8 Kit.
Buffy Eucalyptus Sheets
Rating: 10/10
No point in being coy – I LOVE the Buffy eucalyptus sheets! They are my absolute favorite sheets. For context, my other sheet sets are from Target/Marshalls. Buffy’s eucalyptus sheets feel like a big drink of cool water on a warm day. They’re silky-soft to the touch like a combination of silk, worn-in cotton, with a touch of microfiber.
They do stick to their claim of highly breathable sheets that give me a cooler sleep. I have had melatonin-induced night sweats while sleeping on these sheets, but the sheets seem to dry much faster than my other sets. Also, I’ve never felt ‘too warm’ or sweaty with these sheets. These sheets also stay true to the claim of getting softer with each wash.

The only thing I don’t like about these sheets is that they are prone to wrinkling. However, I really think this is just a product of my own laziness if I don’t immediately remove and fold them from the dryer. I’m not deducting any points for this as it’s really only a minor cosmetic issue and does not effect the performance of the sheets themselves.
Buffy Breeze Comforter & Duvet Cover
Rating 8/10
Buffy’s Breeze Comforter and Duvet Cover are awesome. The comforter is fluffy, cozy, and…comforting? Actually yes! Because both products are also made from eucalyptus they have that cool-to-the-touch feeling that is amazing on warm nights. When I first put the comforter and duvet cover on my bed, I often found Lola spread out on her belly on top on hot days.
I give the Duvet Cover a solid 10 out 10 – no complaints here! The internal ties in each corner also keep the comforter in place. I don’t have any issues in trying to recenter it. The comforter itself, while I have no performance issues, I have noticed it could use a bit of a fluff up after 1 year of use. The only thing I don’t like about the comforter is that it is dry-clean only and it’s a pain to send out to get cleaned.
Editors Note: I use this comforter year round if you’re wondering it’ll be too cool in the Fall/Winter months. During cooler months, I layer a Hudson’s Bay blanket (if you know, you know – I am obsessed) under it for the perfect temperature – the wool of the blanket with the eucalyptus are all highly breathable fabrics to keep you insulated without being sweaty. Buffy’s Cloud Comforter is on my wishlist so I can rotate between seasons.
Buffy Cloud Pillow
Rating: 2/10
The Cloud Pillow is terrible. I honestly should have returned it in the 7-Day window but I’m inherently lazy and never got around to sending it back. Why is so terrible? For a $50 pillow, I expect some kind of engineering or…something to set it a part from a $10 pillow from Walmart.
The pillow is filled with the same fill as the comforter and for my personal tastes is too stiff and not ‘squishy’ enough. I did order the “Medium” firmness and not the “Soft” so it also could have been user error. I was looking for something more like a down pillow.
If you like stiff pillows – the Buffy Cloud Pillow is perfect for you. If you like something more ‘squishy’, I absolutely recommend the Casper Pillow! Perfect blend of standard/down fill and you can fluff it up so easily AND wash it in the washing machine.
Overall
Buffy sheets review verdict? It’s a “Take-My Money-Buy-It” from me! The eucalyptus sheets, comforter, and duvet cover are high quality products that only get more soft and luxurious over time. Every time I change my bed so that I have the holy trinity that is my Buffy sheets bedding, I always look forward to climbing into bed that night. I even bought my parents Buffy sheets for Christmas this year!
But can’t you just buy eucalyptus sheets on Amazon for cheaper? Yes, you can and I have. Unfortunately, the ones I have bought on Amazon for half the price of the Buffy sheets cannot compare to the Buffy ones. They are not as soft and not as cool-to-the-touch. Ya’ll know I love a good dupe, but currently I can’t find one. (If you have one – please note it in the comments!)
Editors Note: I omitted the Buffy Cloud Pillow from the overall rating of this review as I felt it was a real product outlier from their other products and shouldn’t detract from a high rating.
