You guys – I can’t believe I haven’t uploaded this grid sweater dress and green cardigan combo-look yet to the blog! This has been my favorite casual-chic look this winter, so let me share all the deets with you!

Truth time – when I first got this sweater dress, it didn’t look like much and I didn’t have high hopes. But clearly you can’t judge a garment just on the hanger because this is such a great fitting and cozy sweater dress! I am wearing a size XS/S and it fits TTS and perfect! Because this dress is a bit on the shorter side, I paired it with OTK boots and also wore hose underneath for a more covered (and warmer for what it’s worth!) look. I’ve had this Zara faux leather trim cardigan for a couple of years and I find that it goes with most things – especially this look! If you don’t like green, the key is to pair the sweater and boots with a long or duster-length cardigan so the look is more put together.
Another great look with this sweater dress is to pair it with the same boots but with a leather jacket. It’s not as chic as this look with a cardigan, but it’s a more fun look perfect for heading to the coffee shop, or meeting up with friends in the evening for happy hour.
