It’s the dead of winter here in the Nation’s Capitol, and nothing gets me in a style rut like below freezing temps. But, I’m here today to bring you six winter boots that are cute and super functional to pull us both out of this rut – and one pair is under $30! So let’s get to it!
Cole Haan Women’s Zerogrand Hiker Boot Never have I seen a hiking boot look so good! These gorgeous beauties are on my personal wish-list and make me want to take up hiking just so I can wear them. Waterproof leather, comfortable, and an EVA sole that boasts traction. These are an investment (but currently 20% off at the time of this post!), but my unsponsored experience with Cole Haan is that they will last for years, and with 200+ 5 Star Ratings, I’m not the only one who thinks this way. The reviews also state that this is the perfect boot for traveling.
Cole Haan Coralie Wedge Booties I have an affinity for Cole Haan shoes (can you tell?). I have an older version of the Coralie Wedge Booties (in blue suede and no fur) that are 5 years old and they still look AMAZING. Waterproof and comfy AF, these are my ride-or-dies for traipsing around a snow/ice encrusted New York. My toes are always warm and dry. I recommend these 10,000% – and these are on sale right now to boot! (Get it? To boot? Snow boots?…Ok, I’ll stop)
Blondo Liam Waterproof Boot Blondo, a Canadian company, knows what they’re doing when it comes to durable footwear. These Liam booties made the list because they’re a great everyday boot for running errands to going to a nice brunch. Feel free to slush through the snow, as the waterproof leather will keep you dry all day and night.
Ugg Jeovanna Wedge Boot Another wedge, I know, but they are really comfy. Say what you will about Ugg. Bottom line, when it’s below freezing, having your feet covered in sheep wool is pretty much amazing. I love the fold detail – really makes it both casual and sophisticated. With waterproof suede in three colors (Chestnut is my personal fave), these hit the stylish and functional mark!
Susanny Womens Ankle Snow Boots Affordable and cute as heck, I love that these boots can be worn rolled up or down for a different look. The rubber tread will keep you from slipping and sliding everywhere, and the block heel will keep you elevated without sacrificing stability. They come in five different colors, and at $26 you can afford to get a couple colors of these. My favorites are the black and grey.
Chaco Cataluña Mid Lace Boots Chacos – known by crunchy granola and traveler types everywhere for making comfortable but hardy shoes. The Cataluna Mid Lace boots are what you’d expect from this brand. They’re hardy, waterproof, and with a substantial tread to walk through slippery streets. These made the list because they would be adorable with jeans and an oversized sweater on a snowy/gross day.
What’s your favorite footwear for the Winter?
