If you’re been looking for a good fall boot, I’ve got you covered! In previous posts, I talk a lot about how I look for shoes that feel good. Scoliosis + long days running around town = no bueno for my back! Read on to learn more about one of my fall boot crushes!
First Look Top: Aerie // Leggings: Old Navy // Necklace: LOFT (old), but similar here // Lips: ColourPop // Boots: SAS Shoes
Second Look Dress: Express (old), but similar here // Necklace: JCrew (old), but similar here // Watch: MVMT // Boots: SAS Shoes
My friends at SAS Shoes gave me a pair of their new glam boot, the Simi Boot to try and run all around town in. And you know what? I cannot stop wearing these boots! For this post, I wanted to style them two different ways to show that even though they are glam and stand out, they remarkably go with pretty much any outfit.
They look amazing paired with leopard print (another trend this season), and even jean shorts when styled like this. When I’ve worn them out with friends, they’ve gotten a ton of attention and I always follow up with saying “They literally go with everything!”.
And can you believe they’re comfortable? ::swoon::
Fabric-wise, the boot itself is super soft black suede and the heel is covered in rose gold metallic leather. I recommend using a suede leather protectant like this one before wearing them outside just in case they get exposed to the elements.
They fit true to size (I wear an 8 in boots/sneakers) and these fit perfectly. Although, if you plan on wearing these with thick socks most of the time, you may want to size up 1/2 a size. I also like that the padding in the boot is not overkill like some shoes that are designed for comfort can be. After slipping them on and walking all over the city 3 hours later, they felt as comfortable as sneakers. Really.
They are priced at the mid-to-high end for boots, but I honestly think they are worth the money. The leather is of very high quality and the comfort is top notch. Not to mention that they are absolutely gorgeous. To keep them living longer lives, make sure to get them resoled/reheeled when needed (usually every other year for me). Also, use suede leather protectant at the beginning of each Fall/Winter season.
What types of boots have you guys been loving lately?
