Jacket: M.M. La Fleur // Plaid Skirt: M. M. La Fleur // Shoes: Coach (old) but similar here // Top: Loft // Earrings: JCrew // Shaw: JCrew Factory (old) // Necklace: Kendra Scott // Headband: Amazon //
I’m a sucker for a classic look and I feel like I really nailed it with this outfit! My blazer and plaid skirt are from MMLF’s Primary Colors collection. I love this blazer – The Oliver Jacket – to be exact. It has classic suiting structure, but the loose lapels give it undeniable cool girl vibes. I’ve been wearing this blazer with everything – to work with an outfit like this, or even to top off leggings and a loose T-Shirt tied at the waist. Either way, I feel that it adds some sophistication without being too serious or formal – just like my personality!
The second look I’m wearing here is more casual. I changed out the blazer for a shawl, and I added a Fucci (that’s faux-Gucci, or Gucci dupe) headband (PS: they’re under $13!!) for the perfect office ~lewk~. My skirt is the Cobble Hill skirt and comes in a bunch of other colors than plaid. But in my opinion, the plaid is so good.
Ya’ll know I’m a huge fan of MMLF and I honestly have a blast working with them on new collection launches. They also started a new concept store called MM To Go. Same styles but smaller footprint, and you can leave with your items that day! This store is designed for fashion-emergencies during business travel. Forget your blazer? Pack for a 2 day business trip but it turned into a 5 day dumpster fire? You can stop into MM To Go to buy what you need. They have locations in Union Station and in NYC in the Financial District!
I had the pleasure of going to the Grand Opening of the Union Station location and had a blast and also snagged a couple of Spring collection items I’m excited to share with you here soon!
