Wondering what I’m bringing to St. Martin this Spring? Read on for all the crazy good items that are perfect for traveling and the island breeze 🌴
I’m heading to St. Martin next week and am so excited! Below are my must-have travel items in no particular order.
1. Tropical Vibes Beach Bag: Super cute, and from Walmart of all places.🤷♀️Under $20, so I won’t feel too bad if my sunscreen explodes inside.
2. Split Front/Wrap Front Pants: I have like four different pairs of these types of pants and I wear them constantly. They’re perfect for breezy days at the beach or going out to dinner in the evening. It’s the best of wearing both a skirt and pants at the same time.
3. Supergoop! Skin Soothing Mineral Sunscreen: Perfect for sensitive skin, I love using this sunscreen on my face where I can be confident that I won’t get any breakouts or burns.
4. JCrew Scalloped One-Piece: This suit is beyond flattering! I’m still working on my Summer body, and I have lots of stretch marks and cellulite on my hips and thighs. This suit hugs in all the right places and has a super cute modern cut-out on the back.
5. Clinique Stay-Matte Oil-Free Foundation: This foundation claims to be sweat resistant and able to hold up in 88°F and 80% humidity. I can’t think of a more perfect foundation to take to the islands!
6. Julep Love Your Bare Face Cleansing Balm: Not only is this easy to use and a great formula, but it’s in a stick balm form which means you can take it in your carry-on without having to take only a travel-sized amount! Also, there’s no fear of leakage or exploding.
7. Airplane Mode Pull-Over: How cute is this pull-over?! The material is also super-soft and the added thumbholes make it the perfect addition to any travel outfit. Also, the slogan is adorably nerdy 🤓.
8. Venus Travel Razor: I found this at Target and had to get it for my trip. It’s a miniature razor that uses a full-size Venus blade. So if you already use a Venus razor, you can use the same blades for this little guy. It also comes with little case to prevent snags while in your suitcase.
9. Maxi-Cover Up: This is under $18 and it is remarkably flattering! I feel super glam whenever I’m wearing it, and although it’s just a little skirt, it really makes you look put-together without any effort.
10. COOLA After Sun Lotion: If I could take an entire vat of aloe vera with me, I would. But I can’t, so I’m taking this super effective lotion instead. It has both aloe and agave extracts in it and is super soothing for burns. Another great after-sun product is this one by Bare Republic.
11. Soludos Ciao Bella Slippers: I love Soludos – they’re like the beach bum cousin of TOMS. They’re super comfortable and the sole is made of jute (that twine material used for espadrilles) which is super breathable and perfect for traveling during the summer. Just don’t get these guys wet. Like TOMS, they just won’t be the same afterward.
